Training in Service Design and Innovation

In response to growing demand, Engine Service Design has launched a comprehensive offer to support the training and development of Service Design and innovation across the worlds of business, government, design and academia.

Service Design is being increasingly used as a highly creative, systematic approach to engage multi-disciplinary teams to successfully define new customer-centred strategies and ways of working to deliver compelling experiences and improve business performance.

Based on Engine’s experience in designing services and helping organisations build the capacity to become great service providers, this new offer includes the option of one to five day training seminars or to create bespoke programmes to support the development of internal teams. The highly interactive sessions and expert consultancy are designed to move teams from being introduced to key tools and techniques to what is required to fully integrate and manage the practice in-house.

The seminars and training programmes are suitable for a range of organisations, from private and public sector organisations looking to establish Service Design internally, to design organisations and academic institutions looking to promote the practice to their members and students. The seminars are suitable for participants working at strategic and operational levels from a range of backgrounds covering marketing, design, research, innovation, customer experience and delivery.
